This one is at 407 W. Main St., and it hit the market at $615,000.
The address undersells it. The corner property’s front door actually faces Tappan Avenue, which gives it the feel of a side street rather than a highway.
It was built in 1957. The listing, from Keystone Realty USA Corp., calls it a “beautifully refreshed” ranch, recently painted throughout and with new flooring — the language of a house made move-in ready rather than renovated.
There is a back patio, and a lower level that the floor plans call a recreation room.
One correction worth carrying over: Greater Long Island initially reported the house as being in the Babylon School District and has since corrected that, because online listings disagreed with each other. Confirm the school district with the listing agent before it matters to you.
That is not a small footnote in this village. District lines move prices here more than square footage does.
