A new era of inclusive play has officially begun in Wyandanch.

Martin L. King, Jr. Elementary School is now the proud home of a state-of-the-art sensory playground, a project celebrated by the entire Town of Babylon community.

Elected officials and school staff gathered in early August for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the grand opening of the monumental space.

The celebration brought together key community leaders, including Councilman DuWayne Gregory and Suffolk County Legislator Jason A. Richberg.

State Senator Monica R. Martinez and Assemblyman Kwani B. O'Pharro also joined the event, highlighting the broad support for the initiative.

This is far more than just a playground.
